Job summary

Gateway Casinos Rama is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to receive goods, verify packing slips, and prepare items for shipment to Casino locations. You will store products by bin number and assist with inventory, ensuring accuracy and safety. A valid Ontario driver’s license and knowledge of WHMIS are valuable assets.

Eligible candidates bring warehouse experience and familiarity with AGCO regulations. Bilingual skills in French are a plus, and training on safety policies is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to comply with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario regulations.
• Knowledge of Stratton Warren system is an asset.
• Knowledge of WHMIS program is an asset.
• French language skills (verbal and written) are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Verify quantity and quality of product to packing slips and purchase orders.
• Receive and store product in Warehouse by bin number.
• Follow requisitions to select product for departments.
• Prepare product for shipment to Departments or other Casino locations.
• Operate fork lift truck and electric/manual pump trucks; load/unload as needed.
• Strip skids to count and check delivered product.
• Complete monthly, weekly and daily inventory levels.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify quantity and quality of product to packing slips and purchase orders
• Receive and store product in Warehouse by bin number
• Follow directions on requisitions to select product for departments
• Prepare product for shipment to Departments or to other Casino locations
• Load and shrink-wrap skids
• Operate a fork lift truck and electric and manual pump trucks; load and unload trucks; store and pick product
• Strip skids to count and check delivered product
• Assist Barbacks with the picking and filling of bar requisitions
• Complete monthly, weekly and daily inventory levels
• Key enter information to close requisitions and checkinventory levels
• Date and rotate stock
• Maintain and clean work areas and company vehicle
• File retention and TITO shredding
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
• Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Adhere to departmental quality standards.
• Perform other related and compatible duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• Preference will be given to candidates who have previous Warehouse experience
• Ability to comply with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario regulations
• Knowledge of Stratton Warren system is an asset
• Knowledge of WHMIS program
• French language skills (verbal and written) are an asset

• Must hold a valid Ontario Driver's License with 12 years of driving experience & Provide a Clean Drivers Abstract
