Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is seeking a part-time cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the casino facility. You will handle cleaning tasks across public and staff areas and ensure a safe, hazard-free environment with attention to health and safety policies.

The role requires a secondary school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year of related experience, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and shifts. Competitive starting rate and benefits package are provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and sanitation activities for public and employee areas
• Cleans building floors, furniture, fixtures and any equipment
• Services, cleans, and provides supplies to restrooms
• Practices safe work procedures and health and safety policies ensuring a safe and hazard free environment
• Reports any maintenance or safety issues

What You Bring

• A secondary school diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education
• Experience in the related field of one (1) or more years
• Proven high level of Customer Service
• Organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
• The ability to work evenings, weekends and shift work
• Ability to lift, push, pull and move house cleaning equipment and supplies
• Good physical fitness to maintain a constant pace of manual work
• General knowledge of cleanliness and sanitation
• The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
