Job summary

Guillevin International in Calgary, AB is hiring a Warehouse Associate - Shipper to ensure accurate shipments and timely delivery. The role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and involves handling inbound/outbound processes, customer interactions at the pick-up window, and supporting drivers upon arrival.

Primary duties include verifying packing slips, consolidating inbound products, creating bills of lading, shrink-wrapping, and moving shipments using a pump truck.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position is an asset.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• Ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma completed.
• Capability to work as a team player.
• Good Math skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all products coming in from the picking floor and verify accuracy against packing slips.
• Consolidate all products coming in from the picking floor together with their corresponding order.
• Create Bill of Ladings for outbound shipments.
• Shrink wrap shipments on skids.
• Process various courier shipments in their online portals.
• Use pump truck to move shipments into shipping lanes.
• Assist customers at Pick-Up Window.
• Assist drivers for carriers when they arrive.
• Keep shipping area clean, including outside ramp and under dock doors.
• Various projects as assigned by Shipping Manager / Shipping Leads.
