Job summary

Core-Mark Winnipeg is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team on a Monday–Friday shift from 6am to 3pm. You will receive, stock, pick, and pack items, ensuring accuracy and safety throughout the distribution process.

In this role you will operate warehouse equipment and contribute to a fast-paced environment, with growth opportunities while upholding Core-Mark's safety and teamwork standards across North America.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent experience.
• 1 year warehouse/grocery receiving and/or replenishment.
• Ability to get certified in forklift operation and Electrical-Pallet Jack.
• Physical ability to lift, unload, and carry totes and bundles up to 60 lbs. occasionally 60 lbs., up to 250 lbs dolly.
• Stand/walk frequently and drive for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive and locate inbound merchandise for picking.
• Restock lines to prepare for order selection.
• Maintain quantities to accommodate routine/special demands.
• Ensure inventory integrity per system processes.
• Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
• Perform end-of-shift tasks such as charging power equipment.

Position Details

Shift: Monday to Friday from 6am to 3pm

Compensation: Starting $19.83 per hour

Primary Responsibilities

It all flows through you. As a member of our warehouse team, you will take orders from request to reality, in an environment where you'll feel and create a culture of safety and family. You will safely and efficiently move and track all inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse. This includes performing a variety of tasks such as; offloading, stocking, selecting, and replenishing products to ensure that the warehouse is providing Core-Mark customers with exceptional service and quality

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

• Receiving and lumping all inbound merchandise and locating proper pick location.
• Restocking order pick and flow lines to prepare warehouse for order selection.
• Ensuring placement of product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine or special demands.
• Maintaining a high level of attention to detail
• Transferring merchandise from the receiving area to their stock location.
• Consolidating merchandise into picking containers as necessary.
• Packing products securely in cartons and totes.
• Using the appropriate equipment, ensure that safe and efficient movement and tracking of any inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse.
• Maintaining inventory integrity by adhering to system processes at all times.
• Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Performing end of shift tasks such as; charging power equipment and verifying completed work.
• Maintaining clean, orderly workstation-returning supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Committing to safe work practices in adherence with Core-Mark's safety policies and requirements.
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED) certificate, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of warehouse/grocery receiving and/or replenishment
• Ability to get certified in forklift operation and Electrical-Pallet Jack.
• Physical ability to lift, unload, and carry totes and bundles up to 30 lbs. Repetitively and up to 60 lbs. occasionally, push up to 50 lbs., and move a dolly loaded with up to 250 lbs.
• Physical ability to stand and walk frequently and be able to drive for a significant period of time.
• Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Exposure to a variety of environmental conditions: weather, temperature, lighting, and noise as determined by circumstances at accounts within assigned territory.

Preferred qualifications

• Strong math skills
• 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
• Computer proficient with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel.
