Job summary

Sleep Country Canada in Montreal, QC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Operations team. You will conduct customer product order picks, load delivery trucks, and perform inventory counts with the supervisor while maintaining a safe, clean workplace.

The role requires handling RF scanners, operating material handling equipment, and providing exceptional customer service. A high school diploma and ability to lift up to 88 lbs are required; willingness to work evenings and weekends is

• Experience with RF scanners.
• Experience with warehouse equipment and WMS is a bonus.

• Use RF (Radio Frequency) Scanner to scan products into WMS.

• Collaborate with Operations team to exceed goals.

Job description

Shift: Rotating Shifts Including Weekends (4 Days x 10 Hours) 1pm - 11:30pm

In this role you will:

• Conduct customer product order picks and load delivery trucks
• Complete inventory counts with Supervisor
• Inspect inventory for defects or damages and document, as required
• Use RF (Radio Frequency) Scanner to scan products and items into WMS system
• Complete customer pick-up orders, as required, and provide exceptional customer service
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and regulations and maintain a clean working environment
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, as required
• Work together as part of the Operations team to exceed goals and expectations

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:

• High school diploma
• Physical ability to lift and move large items up to 88lbs (40kg)
• Ability to work a flexible shift which may include evenings and weekends
• Ability to think quickly and tackle problems
• Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) Scanners
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to operate material handling equipment (i.e.., forklift, pallet truck, order picker, walkie, reach truck, etc.)
• Experience working within a warehouse environment and knowledge of warehouse management systems are considered assets
