Job summary

Sleep Country Canada is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Pointe-Claire to join our Operations team on rotating shifts (4 days x 10 hours, 1pm–11:30pm). You will pick orders, load trucks, and perform inventory checks while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Experience with RF scanners and material handling equipment is preferred. High school diploma required; ability to lift up to 88 lbs; flexibility for evenings and weekends; training on WMS is provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inventory for defects or damages and document as required.
• Use RF scanner to scan products into WMS system.
• Complete customer pick-up orders and provide customer service.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required.
• Collaborate with Operations team to meet goals.

In This Role You Will

• Work together as part of the Operations team to exceed goals and expectations

The Qualifications And Experience We Like To See

• High school diploma
• Physical ability to lift and move large items up to 88lbs (40kg)
• Ability to work a flexible shift which may include evenings and weekends
• Ability to think quickly and tackle problems
• Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) Scanners
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to operate material handling equipment (i.e.., forklift, pallet truck, order picker, walkie, reach truck, etc.)
• Experience working within a warehouse environment and knowledge of warehouse management systems are considered assets
