Job summary

Fresh Prep, a dynamic leader in sustainable meal kit delivery, is hiring for a warehouse role in Vancouver. Use pallet power jacks and forklifts, and manage inventory transfers with Fishbowl while supporting multiple departments.

You will be part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced setting, with shifts including afternoons, evenings and weekends. Expect hands-on work, strong safety emphasis, and opportunities to contribute to a growing org.

Qualifications

• Experience using pallet power jack and forklift.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
• Ability to work in a high-paced warehouse environment with strict deadlines.
• Attention to detail and meticulousness.
• Able to stand for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including forklift and pallet jack.
• Use Fishbowl inventory software to transfer inventory between buildings.
• Assist other departments in acquiring and locating products in the warehouse.
• Optimize product utilization through organized inventory and FIFO practices.
• Maintain inventory lists and complete on-site checks when needed.
• Make deliveries and pickups around the city with the delivery van.
• Support Warehouse and Production departments with other tasks.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Using heavy equipment including but not limited to: forklift, power jack and pallet jack.
• Using Fishbowl inventory software to transfer inventory between buildings.
• Assist other departments in acquisition and locating products within the warehouse facilities.
• Optimize product utilization through inventory organization and FIFO practices.
• Maintain inventory lists and complete on-site inventory checks as needed and requested by Production and Purchasing.
• Make small deliveries and pick up around the city with our delivery van.
• Other tasks assigned to support Warehouse and other Production departments.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience using a pallet power jack and forklift truck.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers license.
• Ability to work in a high-paced warehouse environment with strict deadlines.
• Attention to detail, care, and meticulousness.
• Ability to stand on your feet for 8-hour long shifts.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs (23 kgs)
• Willing to work afternoon, evenings, and weekend shifts, as required based on operational needs.
• A team-orientation person with a positive attitude, who is always seeking personal and professional growth.

What You Can Expect:

• Hourly Wage: $20.69 per hour
• Shift Schedule: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Friday to Sunday (approximately 24 hours)
