Job summary

DGI Supply is seeking a Warehouse Operator to perform a range of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory tasks. You will help ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation while maintaining safety and customer focus.

Required are a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; 1+ years’ experience is preferred. Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Performs one or more warehouse operational functions within the facility (pick, pack, wrap, load, ship).
• Accurately performs product repackaging of orders daily.
• Responsible for delivering product to the customers’ specifications in a safe and courteous manner.
• Load and unload product on DGI vehicles.
• Take inventory, document and invoice orders and product movement.
• Count, compare, check, and inspect quantities of materials and product in support of order fulfillment.

Job description

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include the functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs one or more warehouse operational functions within the guidelines of the facility (pick, pack, wrap, load, ship and possibly deliver orders containing a variety of products to for/to our customers)
• Accurately performs product repackaging of orders daily
• Demonstrates basic material handling/ packaging /warehouse equipment skills
• Responsible for delivering product to the customers’ specifications/agreed arrangement in a safe and courteous manner treating the customer with the utmost respect as a representative of the company
• Load and unload product properly on DGI vehicles
• DGI vehicle is clean and tidy by end of business day
• Take inventory, document and invoice orders and product movement
• Count, compare, check, and inspect quantities of materials and product in support of the order fulfillment and distribution of company goods in the warehouse
• Ensuring product is delivered in a timely manner
• Responsible for coordinating with management to set up delivery schedule
• Other duties as assigned
• Reports to the Warehouse Manager

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• Salary range: $41,600 - $47,840
• High School diploma or GED required
• 1+ years’ experience preferred but not required
• Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to deliver product to customer sites
• Demonstrates effective written/oral communication skills and customer service skills
• Individual must be detail oriented and accurate
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution metrics and standards
