Express Lumpers in Surrey, BC is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate who can support multiple areas of warehouse operations, including operating high-reach and counterbalance forklifts and picking customer orders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate high-reach and counterbalance forklifts.
  • Pick and prepare customer orders accurately.
  • Load, unload, move, and stage warehouse products.
  • Put away incoming inventory in designated locations.
  • Replenish picking locations as required.
  • Verify quantities, item numbers, and order details.
  • Use RF scanners or inventory systems when required.
  • Perform manual material handling and general warehouse duties.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all warehouse procedures, safety requirements, and supervisor instructions.
  • Support different departments and operational tasks based on daily requirements.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Warehouse Associate who can support multiple areas of warehouse operations. The successful candidate must be comfortable operating high-reach and counterbalance forklifts, completing order-picking assignments, handling products manually, and assisting wherever operational support is required.

This is a hands‑on position suited to someone dependable, safety‑focused, and comfortable switching between equipment operation and general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate high-reach and counterbalance forklifts.
  • Pick and prepare customer orders accurately.
  • Load, unload, move, and stage warehouse products.
  • Put away incoming inventory in designated locations.
  • Replenish picking locations as required.
  • Verify product quantities, item numbers, and order details.
  • Use RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems when required.
  • Perform manual material handling and general warehouse duties.
  • Regularly lift and move products weighing up to 50â60 lbs.
  • Assist with pallet building, wrapping, labeling, and staging.
  • Inspect equipment before use and report safety or maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all warehouse procedures, safety requirements, and supervisor instructions.
  • Support different departments and operational tasks based on daily requirements.
Qualifications And Requirements
  • Previous warehouse experience is required.
  • Proven experience operating high-reach and counterbalance forklifts.
  • Valid forklift certification is required.
  • Previous order‑picking and inventory‑handling experience.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50â60 lbs.
  • Comfortable performing both forklift and manual warehouse work.
  • Strong attention to accuracy and product handling.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain regular attendance.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and willing to assist with different warehouse responsibilities.
  • Must meet all applicable legal and safety requirements for operating powered warehouse equipment.
