Job summary

Fresh Start Foods in Richmond, BC is hiring for a full-time, permanent position with a schedule Sunday to Thursday. Salary is $21-24/hr with weekly pay. The role reports to the Lead Hand or Supervisor and involves meeting productivity targets and ensuring orders ship on schedule.

You will work with teammates to maintain an efficient production flow, ensure items meet specifications, and operate forklifts and handling equipment as needed. Overtime and holiday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification (Class 1 or 2) is a strong asset.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Accountable, dependable and self-motivated.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work holidays and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Report to Lead Hand or Supervisor and meet productivity targets.
• Finish orders according to shipping schedules.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient production flow.
• Ensure products meet specifications upon receipt.

Position

Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $21-24/hr (paid on a weekly basis!)

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday. 6:00am-2:30pm OR 7:00am-3:30pm.

Location: Richmond, BC.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Lead Hand or Supervisor.
• Achieving productivity targets.
• Ensuring orders are finished according to shipping schedules.
• Working together with team members to ensure an efficient production flow.
• Ensuring products are received to specifications.
• Frequently operate a forklift, pallet jack, hand jack, and other equipment to load, unload transport, and store goods.
• Other duties as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Class 1 or 2 Forklift certification is strong asset.
• Strong Attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
