Job summary

Eclipse Advantage is hiring Warehouse Associates in Canada to join a reliable team and contribute to a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. The role involves loading, sorting, and preparing freight with various handling equipment, using RF scanners, and ensuring accurate packing and labeling.

The position runs on the First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday) with pay ranging from $17.60 to $27.00 per hour, based on productivity.

Qualifications

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train).
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs.
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards.
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes.
• Safety shoes are required.

Responsibilities

• Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.).
• Sorts and organizes freight.
• Operate various types of material handling equipment.
• Sort, repack, and label freight.
• Identify unusable pallets.
• Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyor belt.
• Remove items from packing bins, scan items with RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items.

Job Description:

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for sorting incoming/outgoing warehouse product with or without material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Pay Range:

$17.60 (Base Minimum) - $27.00 per hour
Based on Productivity

Shift:

First Shift – Monday to Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.)
• Sorts and organizes freight
• Operate various types of material handling equipment
• Sort, repack, and label freight
• Identify unusable pallets
• Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyor belt
• Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items
• Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition

Job Requirements:

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack)
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Other duties as assigned
