Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a Warehouse Associate for 1st shift in Canada. You will perform storage and shipping tasks for raw materials and finished products to support operations and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities include sorting, packing, operating forklifts and cranes, assisting machine operators, and maintaining equipment. A high school diploma and basic math/reading skills are required, with lifting up to 50 lbs and basic computer use.

1st shift $24 per hour to start

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation
• Perform general clean-up activities
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately
• Train others when required
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to use hand-held measuring tools
• Proficiency with the computer beyond the basic level

Responsabilités clés:

• posséder les qualités et compétences exigées des employés de TKMNA.

Qualifications:

Exigences minimales:

• Diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent.

• Capacité de lire, d’écrire et d’effectuer des opérations mathématiques de base.

• Capacité de soulever une charge de 22,5kg (50lb) sur une distance de 30,5m (100pieds).

• Connaissances de base en informatique.

• Capacité d’utiliser un lecteur de codes et compréhension de la technologie.

Atouts:

• Expérience antérieure en entrepôt.

• Capacité d’utiliser des instruments de mesure manuels.

• Connaissances approfondies en informatique.

Job Compensation

$17.81 - $24.10
