Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. in Canada is seeking a warehouse associate to support storage and shipping activities. You will help ensure accurate order fulfillment and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The first shift pays $24 per hour to start. Responsibilities include sorting, stocking, operating forklifts, packaging orders, and supporting machine operators; a high school diploma and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use scanning technology.
• Basic computer skills; preference for warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Sort, stack, clean, stock and inspect cartons, pallets or parts.
• Assist in filling orders and completing paperwork.
• Operate cranes, forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Assist machine operators and perform general clean-up tasks.
• Maintain equipment and report issues promptly.
• Participate in health, safety, and Lean initiatives.

Job Summary

In a warehouse environment, perform a variety of activities related to the storage and shipping of raw material and/or finished product in order to support the overall operation and exceed customer expectations.

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation
• Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock
• Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation
• Perform general clean-up activities
• Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately
• Train others when required
• Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Exigences minimales:
