Job summary

Eclipse Advantage Canada is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Kitchener to handle incoming/outgoing products and operate material handling equipment. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and working with RF Scanner technology, with training provided.

Qualifications

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train).
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs.
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (eg electric pallet jack).
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards.
• Excellent customer service required.
• Overtime/Weekends may be required during peak/seasonal volumes.

Responsibilities

• Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc.).
• Sorts and organizes freight.
• Operate various types of material handling equipment.
• Sort, repack, and label freight.
• Identify unusable pallets.
• Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided).
• Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyor belt.
• Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items.
• Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.).
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition.

Job Description

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for sorting incoming/outgoing warehouse product with or without material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Pay Range

$17.60 (Base Minimum) - $27.00 per hour

Based on Productivity

Shift
