Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our client a leading pipe and valve distributor in Edmonton, AB. This is an on-going temporary assignment with a day shift from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include picking/packing, stocking, scanning, receiving/loading/unloading trailers, and occasional forklift operation (Counterbalance or Reach). Must have a valid forklift license and at least 1 year of warehousing experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of general labor in warehousing or distribution.
• Valid forklift license with at least 1 year of experience (REACH / STAND UP).
• Previous order picking experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Steel-toed boots are required.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders.
• Stocking, scanning, loading boxes.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Receiving, loading and unloading trailers.
• Restocking products and shipping with hand and mechanical trucks.
• Counter sales responsibilities and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled.
• Occasional forklift operation (Counterbalance or Reach).
• Performing other duties as needed.

Our esteemed client, a leading distributor specializing in top-quality pipes and valves, is eagerly seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate with a valid forklift license to join their team immediately for an on-going temporary assignment located at their Edmonton, AB location.

Our client is pleased to provide:

• Competitive hourly wage of $21.55/hour
• Day shift, Monday to Friday

As a Warehouse Associate your primary responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing
• Stocking, Scanning, Loading Boxes
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Receiving, loading and unloading trailers
• Restocking product and shipping with the use of hand and mechanical trucks
• Responsible for counter sales
• Ensures customer orders are completed
• Forklift driving at times (either on the Counterbalance or REACH)
• Performing other duties as needed

To be considered for the role of Warehouse Associate you should possess:

• A minimum of 1 year of general labor experience in warehousing or distribution sector
• Valid forklift license with a minimum of 1 year experience (REACH / STAND UP)
• Previous order picking experience in a warehouse environment
• The ability to consistently lift up to 50lbs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Steel-toed boots.
