Job summary

Wolseley Canada is seeking a warehouse associate to support daily operations in our Balzac-area facility. You will load/unload, receive shipments, pick/pack orders, and help ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safe, organized warehouse practices.

Candidates should have prior warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification is a plus, with WHMIS/TDG considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required.
• Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative.
• Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds.
• Forklift certified or ability to be certified.
• WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset.
• Knowledge of industry (Plumbing and or HVAC) products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments.
• Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracy.
• Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner.
• Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment.
• Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule.
• Strap and/or secure material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport.
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.
