Job summary

Wolseley Canada Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate in Balzac, Alberta. You will load/unload products, receive shipments, and prepare orders for shipment, while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office are required.
• Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative.
• Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified.
• WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset.
• Knowledge of plumbing/HVAC products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments.
• Receive incoming shipments and check for accuracy.
• Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse promptly.
• Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing shipment documentation.
• Load items into the truck while meeting delivery schedules.
• Strap and secure material to prevent damage during transport.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety procedures in the warehouse.

What You Will Do

• Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments

• Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment
• Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule.
• Strap and/or secure material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport.
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.
