Job summary

Wolseley Canada is seeking a warehouse associate to support loading, unloading, and accurate handling of shipments. You will pick, pack, and ship orders, prepare shipment documentation, and ensure safe, efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification or ability to obtain it is preferred; shift is 2 pm to 10 pm.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is required.
• Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified.
• WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments.
• Receive incoming shipments and check for accuracy.
• Put away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely manner.
• Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipment.
• Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a tight delivery schedule.
• Strap and secure material to prevent damage during transport.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety procedures in the warehouse.
