Job summary

Asus-Computer-International in Markham is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment. You will verify shipments, stock locations, process orders, and assist with returns and customer inquiries.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Receive shipments and verify part numbers, quantities, and condition.
  • Put away products into assigned locations and maintain organized storage.
  • Process orders including picking, packing, and shipping label preparation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.
  • Handle returns according to procedures and support refunds.
  • Complete warehouse transactions in company systems.
  • Assist customers by email with order/shipment/refund status.
  • Coordinate with planner on bulk orders and communicate ETAs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring inventory and orders are handled accurately and efficiently. The position works closely with the Logistics team to support receiving, order fulfillment, inventory management, and other day-to-day warehouse activities. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented individual who is hands-on, willing to learn, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, and product condition.
  • Put away products into assigned warehouse locations and maintain organized racks and storage areas.
  • Process orders, including picking, packing, preparing shipping labels, and shipping products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse locations and promptly report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts.
  • Receive and process product returns and support returns and refund processing according to established procedures.
  • Complete required receiving, shipping, inventory, and return transactions in company systems.
  • Assist with responding to customer inquiries by email regarding order, shipment, return, or refund status.
  • Coordinate with the Parts Planner on bulk customer orders, monitor shipment ETAs, prioritize receiving upon arrival, and communicate with customers to support timely order placement and fulfillment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work area.
  • Perform other duties and tasks assigned by management.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to identify and report issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formulas, and report generation, is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work requirements.
  • Familiarity with ASUS products and technology is a plus.
  • Basic handyman skills, including experience using hand tools and assembling shelving or furniture, is a plus.
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, or a related field is preferred.
