AWC Water Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support our operations and fabrication teams in Langley, BC. The role emphasizes forklift operation, inventory management, and assisting with shipping and receiving to ensure parts flow smoothly.

You will pick and organize parts, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and communicate with the Shop Supervisor. The position involves manual handling to 50 lbs, and requires a valid BC driver’s license.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or industrial environment preferred.
• Valid BC Driver's License (Mandatory).

Mansioni

• Safe operation of forklifts for moving, loading, and unloading materials.
• Acting as a Parts Runner, requiring a valid BC driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Accurately sorting and picking parts according to work orders.
• Organizing the warehouse to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

• General facility clean-up and maintenance as required.

AWC Water Solutions Ltd. specializes in providing integrated water and wastewater treatment plants along with a wide range of specialized industrial packaged solutions. We offer clients advanced in-house engineering and design, 3D modeling, piloting, fabrication and machining, an in-house control panel shop, and a full suite of field services—allowing us to deliver complete turn-key solutions.

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support our operations and fabrication teams, bringing professionalism and a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork in the work we do. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in forklift operation, inventory management, and assisting with shipping/receiving, along with the ability to accurately pick and organize parts, perform general warehouse duties, and act as a parts runner. A valid BC driver's license, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of forklifts for moving, loading, and unloading materials

Work hours:

• Full-time: Monday-Friday, 7:00a.m. - 3:30p.m

HSE / Quality Responsibilities And Duties

• Immediately report any accident/incident and collaborate in its investigation
• Interrupt work when conditions are unsafe and report them to upper management
• Maintain orderly and clean work areas to prevent hazards
• Require, use, and maintain in good condition all safety equipment, work tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE)

Qualifications

• Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or industrial environment preferred
  • Valid BC Driver's License (Mandatory).
