Upper Canada Forest Products Ltd. in Victoria, BC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. This full-time onsite role offers hands-on opportunity to improve operations and customer experience.

You will load/unload, prepare shipments, handle freight, tag stock, and manage inventory while maintaining a safe, organized warehouse. A forklift background and teamwork mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Forklift license is an asset but not required.
• Lumber or panel experience is an asset.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push approximately 75 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and stack products by hand and using a forklift.
• Prepare orders for shipment with correct quantity and type.
• Handle freight and secure loads following safety requirements.
• Tag or label stock and store correctly.
• Deliver product with a small delivery truck as required.
• Manage inventory of shipping materials.
• Enter updated inventory into the ERP system.
• Report inventory discrepancies to management.
• Maintain organized work area per policies and safety regulations.

What you will do:

• Load, unload, move and stack products by hand and using a forklift.
• Prepare order for shipment, ensure that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Handle freight and secure loads in accordance with established safety requirements.
• Tag, mark, or label stock items and ensure they are placed in correct storage location.
• As required, deliver product with a small delivery truck.
• Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Key updated inventory into the ERP system.
• Report any discrepancies in inventory to management.
• Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
