Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Waitstaff to take food and beverage orders and deliver items to dining room guests.

You will greet residents and guests warmly, take orders efficiently, advise on menu items, and ensure accurate, timely service.

Maintain sanitation standards, coordinate with back-of-house staff, and assist with setup and cleanup during events; must have a valid Food Handler Certificate and be physically able to lift and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food services industry.
• Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to get along with others.
• Physically able to lift heavy items and stand for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, take food and beverage orders efficiently.
• Deliver orders promptly and maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Advise guests on menu items, describe ingredients, and accommodate requests.
