Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking waitstaff to take food and beverage orders and efficiently deliver items to dining room guests in Dugald, Manitoba. You will greet guests warmly, deliver meals promptly, and uphold sanitation standards while providing attentive service.

Qualifications include experience in the food services industry, a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent, excellent communication, and the ability to lift and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in the food services industry.
• Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Exceptional communications skills and ability to get along with others.
• Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy items, and stand/walk for majority of shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in the dining room warmly and take orders.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally; maintain sanitation standards.
• Advise guests on menu items and special diets; coordinate with back-of-house staff.
• Address complaints or issues promptly and relay information to supervisor.
• Ensure dining area is clean and properly set up before and after service.
