Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer and working closely with the regional Vice President of Operations, the Vice President of Sales for Northern BC is responsible for achieving growth and profitability targets aligned with the company's regional sales objectives.

A day in the life –

  1. Build a client-centric sales environment focused on new business development, retention, and relationship management.
  2. Coach and develop the sales team to meet personal income and revenue goals.
  3. Create and implement a business plan and sales strategy with the regional team to meet regional sales and revenue targets.
  4. Identify growth opportunities by securing new contacts and driving business through regional producers.
  5. Conduct joint sales calls with producers to support sales efforts, including initiatives like HUB Top 200.
  6. Motivate and guide the team to achieve aggressive sales growth.
  7. Ensure compliance with HUB’s 3C Carrier initiative in collaboration with the CMO team.
  8. Develop broker relationships, recruit new brokers, and pursue new revenue opportunities using available resources.
  9. Manage regional production against budgets and address shortfalls with strategic plans.
  10. Host regional events, speak at seminars, and represent the company at regional functions.
  11. Visit regional branches regularly to engage, motivate, and support teams.

What you will bring to our team -

  • 10+ years of insurance experience, including at least 4 years in sales leadership.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
  • Level 2 Insurance License or higher.
  • Passion and drive for success.
  • Understanding of sales processes across product lines.
  • Self-starter with initiative, follow-through, and follow-up skills.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Client-centric, solution-oriented sales approach.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance/finance software.
  • Good judgment, reliability, punctuality, and interpersonal skills.

Salary Expectations –

The salary range is $90,000 - $150,000, with potential bonuses of 15% - 100% based on performance. Compensation includes benefits such as health coverage, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid time off, and bonuses/commissions where applicable.
