Job summary

Canaccord Genuity Corp. in Vancouver is seeking a Vice President, Registered Plans & Estate Settlements to lead the Trust and Registered Plans operations. You will oversee processing, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with trustees, advisors and technology teams.

The role requires deep expertise in trust administration, CRA regulations, and securities industry knowledge. You will drive process improvements, coaching, and risk management while delivering exceptional service to CG's

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Post graduate studies, the CSC and professional designations in trust and estate law are considered great assets.
• Experience in working directly with CRA and a Trustee.
• Well-rounded knowledge of all facets of the securities industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in Trust Administration, including trust tax, trust accounting, with a strong understanding of fiduciary legislation, estates and applicable tax regulations.

• Lead Registered Plans Operations Team nationally.
• Oversee recordkeeping software changes with vendors.
• Develop training/tools to deliver business results.
