Job summary
Canaccord Genuity Corp. is seeking a Vice President, Registered Plans & Estate Settlements to lead our national Registered Plans Operations.
You’ll oversee trust, estate, POA and registered plan admin services, combining strong relationship management with technical expertise and sound business judgment. The role requires deep CRA and Trustee experience, broad securities industry knowledge, and leadership to grow the Admin team while delivering exceptional service to Advisors and clients
Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in related field or equivalent
- Post graduate studies, the CSC and professional designations in trust and estate law are assets
- Experience working directly with CRA and a Trustee
- Well-rounded knowledge of all facets of the securities industry
- Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
Responsibilities
- Review CRA regulations related to Registered Products for Canadian retail clients
- Oversee Registered Plan recordkeeping and processing software enhancements
- Maintain clean monthly reconciliation of CRA remittance control accounts
- Lead and develop Registered Plan and Estates Admin team; ensure exemplary client service
- Represent Canaccord Genuity on industry committees and liaise with auditors
