Job summary

Venor, in partnership with a B2B SaaS client, seeks a VP, Product & Engineering in Fredericton, New Brunswick. You will own both product direction and engineering delivery, aligning cross-functional teams to turn priorities into high-quality software.

You’ll lead product discovery, define problem statements, manage the SDLC end-to-end, and partner with CEO and executive leadership on trade-offs. Compensation includes base salary CAD 130k–150k plus bonus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of combined product and engineering leadership experience in B2B SaaS, with direct accountability for both product discovery and shipped software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own product discovery & strategy execution, including problem validation and defining personas.
• Lead sprint planning and execution across software teams, including AI feature builds.
• Oversee architectural risk, secure development practices, and release governance.
• Coach and align engineering and product/analyst teams with executive leadership.
