Job summary

Jobtailor in Canada seeks a senior leader to define and drive the lottery technology portfolio and product strategy. The role requires building strategic partnerships with senior business and technology leaders to deliver customer value and business outcomes, while guiding transformation initiatives and maintaining high-performing teams.

The candidate will champion Agile and product management best practices, oversee end-to-end delivery, and manage a portfolio of PM leaders, ensuring alignment

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology, product management, software delivery, or related disciplines
• Proven success leading large-scale organizations and technology transformation initiatives
• Expertise in waterfall and Agile delivery, rapid prototyping, and user-centered design
• Ability to translate complex concepts for executives, Board members, regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders
• Ability to drive alignment, negotiation, collaboration, and decision-making across competing priorities

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic vision for lottery technology portfolios
• Define and execute the product vision and portfolio strategy
• Build partnerships with senior business and technology leaders to deliver business outcomes and customer value
• Drive innovation and product evolution using market dynamics, regulatory requirements, technology trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence
• Lead end-to-end product delivery and operational excellence, including ideation, requirements, development, testing, quality engineering, maintenance, service management, and decommissioning
• Oversee and develop a portfolio of product management leaders
• Champion Agile and product management best practices
• Resolve cross-portfolio priorities and dependencies
• Advance centralized business requirements and customer experience models
• Serve as the EIT lead for major transformation initiatives, including Lottery Evolution
• Provide strategic direction, governance, financial stewardship, and successful execution of enterprise-wide programs
• Build and sustain high-performing, inclusive teams through leadership, coaching, succession planning, capability development, employee engagement, and accountability
