THE ROLE

STRIVE Recruitment is actively engaged in the search for a Vice President of Finance on behalf of our clientan organization entering an exciting new phase of growth and strategic evolution. This critical leadership role will work closely with the executive team and demands a well-rounded finance professional with proven expertise in corporate development, capital markets, banking, treasury, FX hedging, and strategic tax planning. The ideal candidate will bring a forward-thinking mindset and the ability to drive financial strategy in a dynamic and evolving niche industry with immensely high growth potential.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead strategic financial planning and provide high-level support to the executive team on growth initiatives and long-term financial strategy.
  • Oversee and manage international banking relationships, ensuring access to global capital markets and optimal financing structures.
  • Drive corporate development activities including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead capital markets initiatives, including debt and equity financing, investor relations, and capital structure optimization.
  • Oversee treasury functions with a focus on liquidity management, FX hedging, cash flow forecasting, and risk mitigation.
  • Partner with tax advisors to develop and implement effective global tax strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide insightful financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making at the board and executive levels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align finance with operational strategy and performance.

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in senior finance roles, with significant exposure to international banking and global finance operations.
  • Experience in marine, logistics, transportation, or asset-intensive industries with $100M+ revenue is highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated success in capital markets, including equity and debt transactions, investor relations, and financial structuring.
  • Deep experience in corporate development, including M&A strategy, due diligence, and post-deal integration.
  • Strong understanding of treasury, FX risk, and international tax planning.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of building high-performance finance teams.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
