Job summary

State Street Corporation in Toronto seeks an ETF Product Specialist to drive end-to-end ETF servicing and product development across Canada. You will liaise with issuers, exchanges, and market participants, shaping strategy and collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Technology to meet client needs.

The role requires expert securities industry knowledge and ETF product experience, with strong analytical and vendor-management capabilities to sustain market leadership.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of securities industry (10+ years) and ETF products (5+ years), investment strategies, data providers, market trends and competitive landscape.
• Familiarity with facets of the exchange traded product market space in Canada including service provider and market structure.
• Understanding of operational flows and business processes in ETF administration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business reviews and analysis to ensure key deliverables and milestones are met.
• Manage across multiple business units to deliver a market-leading ETF offering including custody, fund services, securities lending.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Operations, and Technology to assess client needs and expectations.
• Perform analysis on competitors and market sizing to contribute to product strategy.
• Identify and evaluate third-party vendors to assess potential strategic alliances to enhance product offering.
• Plan major development initiatives and milestones with Sales, Product, Technology, Operations and others for coordinated service delivery.
• Serve as a spokesperson for ETF services among industry participants and clients; attend events to maintain visibility.
• Support sales and services with formal presentations to clients and prospects.
• Develop product functionality scorecard and metrics to track financial success, adoption trends, quality.
