We are seeking a Vice President of Consumer Marketing for Canada's largest automotive marketplace. This is a rare opportunity for a skilled marketer to lead a well-known brand, with full ownership of the consumer marketing function. The VP will oversee brand marketing, PR, social media, creative production, paid advertising, retention strategies, SEO, editorial, and consumer research. Leading a team of 8, the VP will aim to grow the consumer audience, optimize media channels, and enhance brand metrics such as awareness, consideration, unique users, visits, VDPs, leads, and market share. Responsibilities include:

  • Paid consumer advertising
  • Brand marketing and strategy
  • SEO, email marketing, and digital technology-driven marketing
  • Research and competitive intelligence
  • Agency and vendor management
  • Providing marketing leadership across departments such as Product and Sales

Must have experience:

  • At least 10 years of related experience
  • Leadership of a consumer marketing function for a notable brand
  • Experience managing budgets of $10M+
  • Proficiency in brand, paid, and SEO marketing elements
  • Leading teams of at least 10 people
  • Post-graduate marketing qualifications preferred
  • Bilingual in French and English is a bonus
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, stakeholder management skills, and influence
