Job summary

Recruiting In Motion - Eastern Ontario is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Development Sales in Vaughan, ON. The role requires 7+ years in corporate development, with a focus on strategic partnerships and capital raising.

It offers a strong executive network, leadership growth, and a dynamic, entrepreneurial culture. Location is Vaughan with 2 days on-site per week; the remainder includes travel across the GTA/Toronto for in-person meetings.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in corporate development, business development, strategic partnerships and capital raising.
  • Proven success in building and managing executive-level relationships.
  • MBA and/or CFA designation is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow relationships with financial advisors, wealth management professionals, real estate and mortgage professionals, accountants, lawyers, business owners and entrepreneurs.
  • Develop and execute partnership strategies that generate new business opportunities and support capital-raising initiatives.
  • Identify and cultivate new referral channels aligned with long-term growth objectives.
  • Expand market presence with regional business development strategies across key Canadian markets.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and networking events; collaborate on marketing and partner engagement strategies.
  • Maintain an active pipeline, monitor KPIs, and provide market insights for strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and grow strategic relationships with: Financial Advisors Wealth Management Professionals Real Estate Brokers Mortgage Professionals Accountants Lawyers Business Owners and Entrepreneurs
  • Develop and execute partnership strategies that generate new business opportunities and support capital-raising initiatives.
  • Identify and cultivate new referral channels aligned with the organization's long-term growth objectives.
  • Expand market presence by implementing regional business development strategies across key Canadian markets.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and professional associations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on marketing initiatives, co-branded campaigns, and partner engagement strategies.
  • Maintain an active pipeline, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide market insights to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in: Corporate Development Business Development Strategic Partnerships Capital Raising Relationship Management
  • Demonstrated success building and managing executive-level relationships.
  • Strong existing network within one or more of the following: Financial Services Wealth Management Real Estate Mortgage Industry Accounting Legal Professional Services
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a high-growth environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
  • MBA and/or CFA designation is considered an asset.
  • Experience with exempt market investments, alternative investments, real estate syndications, or capital raising is considered a strong asset.
