The Borgen Project seeks passionate individuals for a Writer/Journalist Program aimed at creating content for their platforms. This part-time, unpaid opportunity allows you to contribute to their advocacy efforts against global poverty, gain experience in writing, and potentially earn college credit.

The Borgen Project believes that leaders of the most powerful nations on earth should be doing more to address global poverty. The national campaign is working to make poverty a focus of U.S. and U.K. foreign policy.

With 20 years of experience in the advocacy space, The Borgen Project has supported the passage of numerous bills benefiting close to 500 million people in developing countries.
Writer/Journalist Program
The role focuses on content creation for BORGEN Magazine or The Borgen Project Blog.
This is a part-time, 12 hours per week, 12-week unpaid remote program.
If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the program in fewer weeks.
Responsibilities include:
Experience: No prior experience necessary. We’re looking for people passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of your background or GPA.
Details: This is an unpaid program, although college credit is available.
Start Date: New programs begin every month. You can choose your start month.
