The Borgen Project is an international organization working to reduce global poverty by influencing U.S. and U.K. foreign policy. With over 20 years of advocacy experience, it has supported legislation benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.

Volunteer: Writer/Journalist Program

This is a part-time, unpaid, remote role, requiring approximately 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. You may complete the program sooner if you work ahead.

Responsibilities

1. Writing articles for BORGEN Magazine or The Borgen Project Blog.
2. Researching relevant topics.
3. Supporting advocacy efforts.
4. Assisting with fundraising by creating personal campaigns and meeting targets.

Qualifications

No prior experience is necessary. We seek passionate individuals committed to fighting poverty and social injustice, regardless of background or GPA.
