Job summary

Providence Health Care in Vancouver is seeking a Coordinator, Volunteer Resources to organize and implement the volunteer program across sites, working with staff, families and community partners to provide meaningful opportunities.

You bring an Undergraduate degree, at least three years coordinating volunteers, and a Volunteer Management Certificate; familiarity with Better Impact is an asset. The role supports patient and resident care while promoting a safe environment.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • Minimum three years coordinating volunteer resources.
  • Volunteer Management Certificate or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Better Impact is asset.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes, coordinates and implements the volunteer program for Providence Health Care.
  • Works with staff, volunteers, families and community partners to support meaningful volunteer opportunities.
  • Promotes a safe environment for patients, residents, families, visitors, volunteers and staff.
  • Develops and maintains volunteer programs across sites and contributes to recognition initiatives.
  • Prepares quarterly reports and participates on multidisciplinary teams across sites.
