Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Power BI is an asset.
• Visual Merchandising or related certificate is an asset.

Overview:

We are seeking a creative, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Visual Merchandiser to create engaging product presentations and store displays that enhance the customer experience, support brand standards, and drive sales. The ideal candidate combines strong merchandising skills with exceptional customer service, ensuring every customer enjoys an inspiring and welcoming shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain visually appealing product displays throughout the store.
• Execute visual merchandising standards in alignment with company branding, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
• Create compelling feature presentations and product focal points that attract customers and encourage purchases.
• Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering product-related questions, and supporting their shopping needs.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide recommendations that enhance their shopping experience.
• Utilize store POS systems for the purpose of transacting sales.
• Analyze sales trends and customer shopping behaviors to optimize product placement and display effectiveness.
• Collaborate with store leadership and team members to achieve sales, merchandising, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Refresh displays regularly to keep the store environment appealing and relevant.
• Ensure all visual merchandising activities support a clean, organized, safe, and customer-friendly shopping experience.
• Install signage, fixtures, and promotional materials accurately and safely.
• Support store events, new product launches, seasonal transitions, and special promotions.
• Maintain brand standards and ensure merchandise is presented in a visually appealing and shoppable manner.
• Assist with floor moves, merchandise replenishment, and inventory presentation as required.

Knowledge and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of retail merchandising, visual merchandising, or retail sales experience.
• Strong visual presentation and merchandising skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers and build positive relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications-power BI is an asset.
• Certificate or diploma in Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field is an asset.
• Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment is an asset.

Salary Range: $21-$23/ hour
