Job summary

Beem Credit Union in Vancouver is seeking a Financial Solutions Specialist to deliver licensed investment advice and multi-goal financial strategies within an unassigned member model. Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• PFP, QAFP, or CFP designation preferred or willingness to pursue.
• 4–6 years of advisory experience including investment and lending.
• Strong knowledge of registered products (RRSP, TFSA, RESP) and non-registered investment solutions.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and advisory and coaching skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and CRM documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed investment advice and mutual fund sales.
• Develop and implement medium- and long-term investment strategies based on risk tolerance, goals, and time horizon.
• Educate members on portfolio diversification, market fundamentals, and retirement planning strategies.
• Maintain strict adherence to regulatory, licensing, and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with wealth, credit, and risk teams to ensure a seamless, integrated member experience.
