Job summary

Aramark Canada is seeking a Server to provide exceptional front-line food and beverage service at Club Bell in the Canadian Tire Centre, Ottawa. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and create memorable experiences for our VIP guests.

This role reports to the Club Bell Manager and requires strong English, a Smart Serve certification, and flexibility to work during hockey games and special events for Ottawa Senators and related events.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years previous server experience in a fast-paced VIP elevated environment is required.
• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions in English. Bilingualism in French is an asset.
• Must possess excellent Guest Service Skills interacting with VIP Clientele.
• High attention to detail.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
• Enjoys working in a lively, fast-paced environment.
• Be available to assist with occasional morning, night, and weekend events for additional catering events as they arise.
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage preparation and presentation for VIP setups is an asset.
• Must hold Smart Serve Certification

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned section to ensure performance meets objectives and client expectations (in-seat service with Luxe Seats, Loges or Suites).
• Perform opening and closing duties as directed by the manager or event day lead.
• Work under pressure with a calm demeanor in a high-energy arena environment.
• Take beverage orders from guests and ensure prompt delivery.
• Keep Suites organized and clean when assigned.
• Assist guests with questions pertaining to food allergies and sensitivities.
• Maintain client rapport for mutually beneficial relationships.
• Demonstrate professional customer service using Aramark standards.
• Maintain inventories and sales records.
• Adhere to Aramark processes and safety policies.
• Support Premium Department for banquets and catered events when required.
