Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Reviewer/Fraud Analyst to join our innovative Data Mining team. You’ll work in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment, contributing to advanced security solutions for top retail brands in North America. We especially encourage female candidates to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review transactional data to detect anomalies and flag potential fraud.
• Analyze surveillance videos, mainly of retail cashier activities, to identify and label fraudulent behaviors.
• Prepare and present detailed analytical reports to the Data Mining team.
• Support the development of fraud detection processes and tools.
• Communicate with team leaders in Vietnam and Canada via chat, email, and documentation.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Your skills and experience

Education/Training Required

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

Required Job Skills

• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail, especially in video observation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with video/CCTV software is a plus.
• Basic understanding of fraudulent behaviors in retail/POS environments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python is a plus).
• Good written and spoken English for professional communication and reporting.
• Responsible, meticulous, and a strong team player.
• Excellent attention to details and accuracy

Nice to have:

• Have good knowledge or experience with Agile/SCRUM development method
• Experience in data analysis or fraud detection is a plus but not required.
