Main Purpose of the Job

We are looking for English into Vietnamese translators to join our growing team for one of our global clients, a music streaming company offering services such as music streaming and podcasts. They will take ownership of incoming work on this account and contribute to its success.

Job Details

Job Title: English into Vietnamese Creative UI and Marketing Senior Translator/Reviewer

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Remote (based in US or Canada)

Task Type: Translation, Copy Editing

Estimated Work Volume: 15 hours/week

Employment Type: Freelance

Main Duties

• Translate and review content from English into Vietnamese, ensuring the original meaning is conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to the target audience.
• Content types include: Informational, Legal, Marketing, Product, Support
• Use CAT tools, specifically Smartling

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years' experience translating and reviewing content in the relevant subject areas.
• Proficient in marketing, product, legal, and informational content translation.
• Well-versed in translation and terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Vietnamese, with native fluency preferred.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Able to follow instructions, including character restrictions.
• Effective communicator of transcreation rationale.
• Knowledge of UI and creative content (e.g., synopses, episode titles).
