Job Purpose

We are seeking experienced English into Vietnamese translators to join our expanding team for a global client in the music streaming industry, which offers entertainment services such as music streaming and podcasts. The role involves managing incoming work and contributing to the success of the program.

Project Details

• Job Title: English into Vietnamese Creative UI and Marketing Senior Translator/Reviewer
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Remote (US or Canada based)
• Task Type: Translation, Copy Editing
• Estimated Volume: 15 hours/week

Main Duties

• Translate and review content from English into Vietnamese, ensuring the original meaning is preserved and the content is understandable to the target audience.
• Handle various content types including informational, legal, marketing, product, and support materials.
• Use CAT tools, specifically Smartling, for translation tasks.

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in translating and reviewing relevant content.
• Proficiency in marketing, product, legal, and informational content areas.
• Familiarity with translation and terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in Vietnamese, with native fluency preferred.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow specific instructions and communicate the rationale behind translations.
• Knowledge of UI and customer support content, as well as creative content such as synopses and episodic titles.
