Main Purpose of the Job

We are seeking experienced English into Vietnamese translators to join our expanding team for a prominent global client, a music streaming service offering entertainment such as music streaming and podcasts. The selected translators will manage incoming work and contribute to the success of the program.

Project Details

• Job Title: English into Vietnamese Creative UI and Marketing Senior Translator/Reviewer
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Remote (US or Canada-based)

• Estimated Volume: 15 hours/week

Main Duties

• Translate and review content from English into Vietnamese, ensuring the original meaning is preserved in a manner that is clear and engaging for the target audience.
• Content types include Informational, Legal, Marketing, Product, and Support materials.
• Utilize CAT tools, specifically Smartling, to manage translations.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in translating and reviewing content in the relevant subject areas.
• Proficiency in marketing, product, legal, and informational content.
• Familiarity with translation and terminology tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in Vietnamese, with native fluency preferred.
• Degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, including character restrictions.
• Ability to explain the rationale behind transcreation decisions.
• Knowledge of UI and customer support content, as well as creative content like titles and synopses.
