Duties and Responsibilities:

Format-Specific Editing:

• Edit video content tailored to specific platforms, including web/digital, social media, TV, and other emerging formats.
• Optimize content to maximize impact and engagement on each platform
• Work closely with the creative team to understand campaign objectives and develop visually compelling narratives.
• Collaborate on the integration of advertising and marketing strategies into the editing process.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising on quality.
• Utilize industry best practices to create efficient editing workflows for various formats.

Technical Proficiency:

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in video editing software relevant to web/digital, social, and TV formats.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in the field of video editing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a focus on web/digital, social, and TV formats with 2-4 year of experience.
• Proficiency in video-editing software: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, related plug-ins and programs.
• Understanding of advertising and marketing principles is an asset.
• Understanding of videography is an asset.
• Interest and experimentation or implementation of AI video tools (e.g., Runway, Descript, Pictory, Lumen5, Flux)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Education
• Bachelors or diploma/certificate in Film, videography or related.
