Job summary

Alertdriving® in Toronto is seeking a skilled Video Content Creator to produce high-quality multimedia for our enterprise software platform FleetDefense®. You will update existing content, film new material, and assemble clips using stock media, animation, and editing techniques.

You will collaborate with the Media Team Manager to conceptualize, script, shoot, and deliver video assets that align with brand standards and global messaging, while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of multimedia production experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Good communication and ability to work under deadlines.

Video Content Creator for a Technology Company

We are looking for a creative and dependable Video Content Creator to join our Content Team in Toronto.

Alertdriving® has been the innovative leader in the global driver risk management space for 25 years. Its world-class enterprise technology platform, FleetDefense®, is used by many of the biggest and brightest companies on the planet.

The ideal candidate will enjoy producing detailed video content of the highest quality for our enterprise-class software platform, using established standards and processes with a high degree of precision. This individual will be expected to take active role in the discussions, development, and implementation of visual content at Alertdriving.

Position Summary:

As a Video Content Creator at Alertdriving, you will play a pivotal role in the content department. The Video Content Creator’s responsibilities will include updating existing video content, filming content for use in Alertdriving’s media library, devising and creating video content with the use of stock media, media clips, animation, and editing footage and content for distribution.

From conceptualization to delivery, you will collaborate with the Media Team Manager in our Toronto office.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

• Strong multimedia production and video editing skills


• Filming content as required


• Executing precise edits following an Edit Decision List


• Cutting translated audio and aligning it with footage


• Syncing, editing, and reviewing global footage, and selecting appropriate clips


• Performing color correction on all clips and adhering to editing guidelines


• Compositing four camera angles in Adobe After Effects


• Adjusting clip timing to highlight desired messaging


• Contributing to various stages of video creation, including scripting, filming, and post-production

Helpful Experience:

• Post-secondary education in a related field or applied knowledge


• A minimum of 1 year experience in multimedia production


• Open-minded, effective communicator, and eager to stay abreast of new media/editing trends, efficient processes, and best practices.


• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite over and above Premiere Pro and After Effects

Mandatory Requirements:

• A valid passport and ability to travel both domestically and internationally for multiple weeks


• A good working knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects


• A valid G License (or higher) with clean driver abstract
