Job summary

Peak Performance Products Inc. is seeking a dynamic Content Creator/Creative Producer to plan, script, shoot, and edit content for corporate projects, tradeshow appearances, and seasonal campaigns, in collaboration with the marketing team.

This hands-on role involves operating a mirrorless camera, editing end-to-end, and bringing fresh ideas to both brand features and social content across LinkedIn and Instagram.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in content creation or as a creative producer.
  • Proficiency in scripting, copywriting, editing, and multimedia production.
  • Strong creative portfolio demonstrating video storytelling.
  • Canva or Photoshop knowledge at basic to intermediate level.
  • CapCut and Premiere Pro with ability to edit long and short form content.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, script, shoot, and edit short- and long-form video content.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to align on brand voice and campaigns.
  • Stay current on social media trends and platform updates.
  • Cover trade shows/events with live and recap content; travel may be required.
  • Maintain content calendars and support creative ideation through AI tools.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Content Creator/Creative Producer to plan, script, shoot, and edit content across corporate internal projects, tradeshows/consumer shows, brand/product launches, and seasonal campaigns, in collaboration with the marketing department. This is a hands-on creative role. You will be expected to pick up a camera, set up a shot, capture good footage, experiment with different ideas, and edit content from start to finish. You will work closely with the Marketing team while bringing your own creative ideas and perspective to the content we produce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, script, shoot, and edit short-form video content, developing hooks and storylines that engage our target retailer audience across LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Use AI tools to support ideation, scripting, visual generation, editing, and content development.
  • Create both short-form and longer-form video content, including social media videos, product/brand features, event coverage, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, and storytelling pieces.
  • Comfortable shooting with a mirrorless camera, gimbal, lighting, and mics.
  • Stay current on social media trends, sounds, and platform updates.
  • Plan and cover trade shows and events (e.g. CHFA), including storyboarding, live coverage, and recap content. Travel and non-standard hours required during event periods.
  • Basic familiarity with content calendars and social media planning.
Required Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in content creation or creative producer
  • Proficiency in scriptwriting, copywriting, editing, and multimedia production.
  • Advanced proficiency in CapCut; comfortable using Premiere Pro for advanced editing when required.
  • High proficiency using AI tools for video generation, scripting, and copywriting.
  • A strong creative portfolio demonstrating video creation, storytelling, editing, and a variety of content styles.
  • Basic to intermediate Canva or Photoshop knowledge.
TOOLS & SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
  • AI generation tools (Claude, Higgsfield, Nano Banana Pro, Kling): working knowledge
  • Design software (Canva, Photoshop): proficient
  • Video editing: proficient in CapCut; strong working knowledge of Premiere Pro
  • Analytics: familiarity with Meta Business Suite and native platform insights
