Job summary

Kabam is seeking a Contract Video Artist to support the creative services team for 1 year at our Downtown Vancouver studio. You will capture gameplay footage, edit video, and prepare content for marketing across titles like Marvel Contest of Champions and Shop Titans.

The role requires 3+ years of video editing experience, familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine, and proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, plus basic audio editing and motion graphics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of video editing experience in both short-form and long-form content; game industry experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of game engines or 3D software (Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.).
• Interest in game development and/or marketing.
• Familiarity with Kabam titles (Marvel Contest of Champions & Shop Titans).
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Moderate proficiency in audio editing and intermediate-level proficiency in designing and animating motion graphics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in video editing and content preparation for upcoming video releases for major titles including Marvel Contest of Champions and Shop Titans.
• Capture gameplay footage and screenshots in Unity across multiple Kabam titles.
• Organize and deliver raw capture in a way that's easy for editors and designers to use.
• Stay up to date on in-game events, updates, and content across our titles so you can proactively capture relevant moments.
• Flag bugs, visual glitches, or inconsistencies encountered while capturing from in-development builds.
• Occasional support in live stream operations as required.

Kabam is looking for a Contract Video Artist to support the creative services team for 1 year. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality gameplay footage and imagery and supporting video editing tasks across our portfolio of titles - including Marvel Contest of Champions and Shop Titans - for use in marketing materials, both static and video.

This role is a full-time, on-site position based 5 days a week at our Downtown Vancouver studio.

In this role, you can expect to:

• Assist in video editing and content preparation for upcoming video releases for major titles including Marvel Contest of Champions and Shop Titans.
• Capture gameplay footage and screenshots in Unity across multiple Kabam titles.

The typical hiring range listed above is specific to candidates located in Vancouver. Compensation will be determined based on your knowledge, skills and competencies.
