Compensation:$nil (volunteer position)
Mandate:August 1, 2023, through July 31, 2024Reports to:Chief Operating Officer
Direct reports: Cross-Functional Support (Department)
Time commitment:10-15 hours per week*
OSTA-AECO empowers and advocates for the students of Ontario and provides rich, tailored professional development to student trustees across the province so that they are well-equipped to represent the needs of their local communities.
The Vice-President, Operations is responsible for ensuring day-to-day tasks within the organization are being carried out and being a central coordinator and facilitator for ongoing initiatives within the organization.
As the head of the Cross-Functional Support team, the VP, Operations will:
The VP, Operations will also sit as a non-voting executive council member.
The successful candidate must attend OSTA-AECO’s three annual conferences and any onsite professional development sessions.
Any applicant for the VP, Operations must be and remain a student trustee for the duration of their mandate.
