As Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer of BC Ferries, you will serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, guiding the financial strategy of an organization that connects coastal communities and drives economic activity across British Columbia. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, you will be instrumental in ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of a nearly $1-billion operation through robust financial oversight, strategic planning, and capital investment leadership.
Beyond core responsibilities in financial reporting, compliance, and risk management, this role oversees an expansive portfolio including treasury, capital planning, supply chain, regulatory relations, commercial services, and enterprise data governance. You will lead modernization initiatives across finance systems, support business transformation, and act as Executive Sponsor for major capital projects. As a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, the CFO plays a critical role in shaping BC Ferries’ future through collaboration, insight, and clear, compelling communication.
