Morningstar Credit Ratings, LLC in Montreal seeks a Vice President, Business Development to grow a book of business across Advisor and Asset Management segments. You will represent Morningstar’s data, research, and software suites while collaborating with Sales Specialists and Product teams. Travel is 5–10%.
The role requires 10+ years in sales/accounts in finance, an MBA/CFA a plus, and fluency in French and English. Base salary range is CAD 120k–170k with a 66% commission target.

The group is structured primarily along the following client segments: Advisor, Asset Management, Retirement, Redistributor, and Commodities & Energy.
The Morningstar Canada Business Development Team seeks a highly motivated Vice President, Business Development, focused on impactfully growing a book of assigned clients and prospects across the various segments, most notably within the Advisor and Asset Management segments. You will represent Morningstar’s suite of capabilities including Data, Research, Software and will work with Specialists Sales on opportunities for Market Data, Sustainable Investing (ESG), Financial Planning, Buy-Side solutions, etc. The role requires some travel approximated at 5-10%. This position will be based in Montreal.
Base Salary Range: 120,000-170,000 CAD Commission Target: 66%
