Job summary

HearCANADA is seeking a Hearing Care Professional to deliver standardized hearing evaluations, educate clients on device usage, and recommend suitable products. The role covers multiple clinics around Windsor, with a home clinic assigned by proximity and travel compensation for cross-site support.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Practitioner or Audiology program.
  • Unrestricted ability to practice in the Audiology field and registration with the provincial governing body in good standing.
  • Working knowledge of hearing health care products and services with diagnostic/dispensing experience.
  • Excellent communicator who can establish a professional rapport with clients and team members.
  • Comfortable making product and service recommendations to clients and providing patient-centric education.
  • Experience with WSA brands (Widex, Signia, and/or Rexton) would be an asset, though not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support existing and new clients in their hearing journey by providing audiological assessments and hearing evaluations.
  • Stay abreast of trends in hearing aid promotions, fittings, and technology to make meaningful recommendations.
  • Build relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care and post-care solutions.
  • Collaborate with clinic team members to support walk-in clients and inbound calls.

Job description

Position overview:

As a Hearing Care Professional with HearCANADA, you are passionate about the hearing healthcare of our clients. You will provide standardized hearing evaluations, a high standard of client care, make product recommendations and educate on product usage and features, and follow-up with clients to ensure their needs are met.

This is a permanent, full-time multi-site position. Clinics supported will include Essex, Lakeshore, and other clinic locations within the surrounding areas of Windsor when required. The successful candidate will be assigned a "home" clinic based on the location closest to their home address and will be compensated for travel to other sites when providing support. Typical hours will be Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm but hours may be modified depending on the clinic supported and could be as late as 6:00 pm and some weekend coverage.

What you will do:

  • Building relationships with clients to ensure appropriate care is provided and post-care solutions are recommended
  • Collaborating with our clinic team members to support both walk-in clients and inbound phone calls
What we are looking for:
  • A graduate of a recognized Hearing Instrument Practitioner or Audiology program
  • Unrestricted ability to practice in the Audiology field and registration with your provincial governing body in good standing
  • Working knowledge of hearing health care products and services with diagnostic/dispensing experience
  • An excellent communicator who can establish a professional and individualized rapport with clients and team members
  • Comfortability in making product and service recommendations to clients and providing patient-centric education to clients to ensure product adoption
  • Experience with WSA brands (Widex, Signia, and/or Rexton) would be a definite asset, though not required
